In case you haven't noticed, I have uploaded over 50 documents and training videos that you can use to help you grow, leader your groups, and become a better equipped believer.

Training Materials - This includes over 40 papers that I have written on subjects that might be helpful to you. They will not answer all your questions but they will help.
Leadership/Group Materials - Some of you have expressed the need for an overview of Powerline that you can refer to others who might be interested in it. This site gives you that Overview.
Dr. Phil Brown Materials - This site is more in depth and will provide help to the more mature Christians.
Excellent Training Videos List - In the modern shift of technology, I have found watching videos a great source of strength and encouragement. I will continue to post videos that I highly recommend.

If any of you have any suggestions for more material that can be added just e-mail me at powerlinesunday@yahoo.ca.

Knowing God's Will - Joel Byer

*The key to knowing God's will is knowing God.

Psalm 40:8
*It's not so much as being perfect, but seeking God.

Psalm 119 David sought after God and was called the man after God's own heart.

*We all want answers, but if we seek God, God is too good to not show his will.

Q&A

1. How do you know 100% it's God's will and not your own?
A. As we focus on God, there can be that steady growing assurance on your heart of what you should or shouldn't do. Be honest with God. God where the peace goes.

2. How can we be sure that we're hearing God's voice and not the craziness of this world?
A. God is a gentle shepherd, but the devil drives us along. Listen to the gentle promptings.

3. How do you differentiate between impressions and God's will?
A. There are always good causes, but God's will gives more assurance.

Questions and Answers:
Q. How can we develop compassion?
A. By knowing Christ better.

Q. Sometimes people have compassion, but they bring it across as THEIR way of receiving compassion and are not very tactful. How can we reach people on their level?
A. Mostly by maturity. There will be some trial and error at first until we get some experience.

Q. How do you distinguish between someone who really needs compassion and someone just taking advantage of you?
A. Even the one taking advantage still needs compassion. Compassion might not be gooey sentiment, but it all goes back to your motivation.
