Imagine having people from across North America, who may not have a real good environment in which they can live for God, all coming together in one call and being able to be encouraged and share how God is working in their life with other believers.
Imagine having a phone call that you can plug your friends into that will give them the basic message of the gospel in a nutshell (2-3 minutes).
Imagine learning leadership techniques and ministry tools that may not be taught in your traditional Sunday services.
My vision for these calls is a way to bring people of all differing levels of Christianity (mature to immature Christians) and have something that each of these people can benefit from.
Here is what is going to happen: Starting this Sunday night at 9:00 P.M. sharp! (Please be on the call at 8:57 PM) will be our first of what will hopefully be many Threemid calls. Basically, you will call in to this US number (218 339-3600) and will be asked to enter a pin number to join the conference (937332#). As soon as you do this you will be on the conference with everyone else and you will be asked to announce yourself (say your name).
We will start exactly at 9:00 PM and go into our 10 minute "Power Talk." This will generally always cover a specific topic that will directly relate to something each member of this group may be facing.
Following this "Power Talk" we will then give a breif 2-3 minutes explanation on how you can become a Christian for unbelievers who may be listening.
We will close in prayer (1-2 minutes) and wrap everything up by 9:15 PM.
After this talk we will then open up the phone lines so that you can all talk to each other if you want (this is totally optional).
My goal is that by the end of the year we have over 50 people on this call every Sunday who are desiring to follow God with all their heart and passionate about helping others follow Him as well.

What is Threemid?
The objective of each Threemid member is to first develop into a strong believer and then to secondly be able to reach out to three new people in the upcoming year and develop them into becoming strong and steady disciples for Christ.
Too often I find that people have very general ideas when it comes to serving God. They say things like "I would really like to do something for God" or "I just want to be all that God would have me to be." Well there is absolutely nothing wrong with wanting to be all that God wants you to be (that should be everyone's highest desire), there is something wrong with having no plan on how you can be all that God wants you to be. Too often people's "all that they can be" is just reading their Bible and praying every day without ever producing another Christian or even talking to anyone about their faith. They develop the mindset that says "unless God dumps a non-believer into their lap" they will probably never talk to them about the good news of Jesus Christ.
As a Christian, I believe that we have something that everybody in the world needs and without it they are going to go to hell. To some people the idea of sharing their faith with others is a scary concept for them because of a few things: A) Fear of rejection B) Fear of embarrassment C) Fear of hurt relationships. The list could go on and on.
My challenge and question though for each of you is this: "How much do you love your non-believing friends and family?" Do you love them enough to share with them the news that Christ came to forgive them and save them from their sins or do you let your fears get in the way?
As 1 John 4:18 18 says: "There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves punishment, and the one who fears is not perfected in love." If we truly love and care about someone, we will love them enough to overcome any fears or doubts that the devil may bring across our path to sidestep us from taking more people into heaven.
Having said all that I conclude with this challenge to become a member of Threemid and plug into the system that it has for each new member.
1) Make yourself accountable to your upline leader (Be honest with them!)
2) Commit to becoming a strong Christian
3) Become strong enough so that you can lead others to Christ
